I have not been really shopping for months! Here at the Coupon Contessa house we are trying to go through all the items and use or donate everything we are not using every day. That includes using our stockpile of food and goods to stretch the dollar even more. During this time, I have made an effort to not buy or stockpile any more items, just use what we have…This has been a great time to really take inventory and see what we really use. My weekly shopping trips have consisted of running in the grocery store to grab milk, bread, eggs (if I did not get them from a friend), and fresh produce.
This Kroger trip, I went with the intention of doing a few transactions, but they did not have some of the products that I wanted in stock. But that is OK, the mega event sale goes on until Dec. 14, 2010.

3 Orville Redenbacher’s Pop Corn (3 count) – $1.49 used .40 coupon from 11/14 SS (doubled) = .69 each (our favorite brand!)
