I have been PADI certified for scuba diving for over 12 years now. I have to admit that the first couple of lessons was just a way to overcome my fears, but after that, I have come to treasure my time under water. I have had very tranquil experiences such as, swimming in a large school of fish. This is one of my favorite times of my life. To see how every single fish can work with the larger group to all move together in many different directions. While scuba diving, I have encountered sharks, (sounds scary, but really not!) an octopus, eels, barracudas (now that was scary!) (I freaked & rapidly dropped to the bottom of the Pacific, I suffered a severe mask squeeze and popped the blood vessles in both my eyes.)
OK, too much info! So the fact is, the beauty that you will experience scuba diving will be unparalleled to the everyday sites and sounds on land!
