Mindfulness Workbook for Dummies Review
Ok, I have to admit, when I first got this book I thought “OH GREAT, I REALLY HAVE TO READ THIS?”
Well, I did read the book and found out that I really love, LOVE, love it! I am not exaggerating one little bit. Basically, the book is dedicated to providing opportunities for you to develop a sense of awareness about mindfulness. What is mindfulness, you ask? It is the process of being in the moment and concentrating your attention, intention and attitude to help you have a better, happier, healthier outlook on life. The book comes with written and audio instructions on meditation and how it is used to change your life for the better. What is awesome about this book is that I found that I have been doing most of these things for a while. Just never put a name to it. I enjoyed taking the time to evaluate my thoughts and the reasons behind them. I have ceased most negative thinking and feel that my family has benefited by me having a little alone time to sort myself out. I feel healthier, happier and more aware of why I think the way I do. Since I am happy…. The whole family is happier. That is the why things are in my house. Mom sets the mood for the entire family!
