Whole Foods Market opens in North Houston

Whole Foods Market opens first store in North Houston

WHAT:           Opening celebrations for Whole Foods Market’s eighth Houston store will kick-off with the company’s traditional bread breaking ceremony led by the Champions store team leader, Erica Gentry, and Mark Dixon, Regional President of the company’s southwest region.

Opening day, Whole Foods Market Champions will be partnering with the Klein Independent School District Foundation and their Reading Express Bus, a mobile library that was funded to ensure all Klein students have access to library materials throughout the summer. The bus will be on-site and will offer story time throughout the day. Funds raised on opening day will be used to purchase to-keep books for the Reading Express Bus.  The books will be given to children who check out and return books to the summer mobile library.  Upon return they will be able to pick out a book of their very own to keep and begin or add to their home library.
