Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with FREE Entertainment, Festivals and Food!

Parade Downtown LULAC starting at 10am on Saturday! Travis and Hamilton…  Then head on over to the Museum of Fine Arts for the Puertas de Arte festival from 12 – pm.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration – May 5, a celebration for Mexicans, who beat the French on this date and includes a downtown parade, Mariachi music and dancers at the Miller Outdoor Theater in Hermann Park

The Houston Public Library System is organizing a FREE Cinco de Mayo Mariachi Fiesta!  Enjoy mariachi entertainment at your neighborhood library.  Times vary for each location.

 Miller Outdoor Theatre:  Enjoy music, dances and lots more!  This Free Event starts at 3pm.  The Woodlands festival will feature  food, art and live music including Yelba y Latin Fire Jazz Band.   Hours are 5-10 p.m. at Market Street’s Central Park, 9595 Six Pines Drive.  PLUS at Berryhill Baja Grill they will have an exciting Tamale Throwdown, where competitve eaters will try to consume over 40 tamales in 12 minutes!! 

 At the Hard Rock Cafe Houston, they will create a 500-gallon Grand Gold Margarita!  Wow!  They will also have live bands all day long! Cost of margaritas are $5.00 each.   This event will benefit the Children’s Charities Assistance of Houston from 12 -2pm.
