Have you ever wondered how different your life would be today if we didn’t have satellite tv and internet? I started thinking about it the other day. When I was a kid, all we had was analog television and wall phones. No one had heard of the internet or had a personal computer. I remember calling my friends on the house phone and having to find out what was coming on television by looking at the TV Guide that came to our house every week. In just twenty short years, technology has changed so much. Now, I don’t know what I did without a cell phone. I mean, I feel naked if my phone is not attached at my hip. I use it for everything: checking my e-mail, calling my friends and family, texting people that I really don’t want to call, and using it as a GPS. I find myself searching things on it all the time. I don’t think that I would know how to do anything if I didn’t have the internet. Now, if I don’t know something or don’t know how to do something, I just YOUTUBE it. Times have really changed!
