This year, the National MS Society, Lone Star has teamed up with family-friendly restaurants across the city to offer Walk MS:
Houston series participants who’ve raised at least $100… get a discount at select locations of Barry’s Pizza, Double Dave’s and Skeeter’s Grill when they dine out Nov. 6 – 12.
Walk MS: Houston 2009 Series, presented by KBR, is a signature fundraising initiative for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star.
More than 4,200 walkers are expected to participate in the Walk MS Houston 2009 Series, comprised of five walks to be held Nov. 7, 14 & 15 in Kemah, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands and Downtown Houston.
All our walks are family-oriented and non-competitive, with distances ranging from one-half to five miles.
There is no cost to participate, yet all walkers are encouraged to fundraise to support those with MS.
