Whole Foods Market Kirby Adds In-Store Bar

WHAT:           Whole Foods Market Kirby will formally kick off the opening of its Kirbside bar on Friday with a Karbach Brewing Tap Takeover. The trend of opening intimate sit-down neighborhood bars inside Whole Foods Market stores continues with Kirbside bar being the 95^th in-store bar opened nationwide.

MORE:           The Kirbside bar launch party festivities will include special pricing, prizes and live music. Local pint sales will benefit the Houston Zoo. Taps will feature Karbach brews exclusively:

·         Three Seasonal Favorites – Krunkin Pumpkin, Pontificator, and Yule Shoot Your  Eye Out

·         Two year round offerings which have not been announced

Daily specials and events for the Kirbside bar:

·         Pint & Pizza Monday – Grab a slice and a pint for $5 from 6-8pm

·         Hump Day Happy Hour – Enjoy rotating happy hour deals – $3 select pints, $4 select wines by the glass, and food specials

·         Local Brew Friday – $3 local pints and half off local cheese plates from 3-6pm

·         Mimosa Sundays – $3 mimosas from 12-2pm

·         Kirbside bar presents Zoo Beats – On the last Thursday of every month from 6-8pm, all bar sales will benefit the Houston Zoo’s conservation efforts
