Buy $100 in Gift Cards at Kroger and Save 40¢ on Fuel

This Special Deal Begins Nov. 21 and Continues Through Dec. 11, 2010.

HOUSTON (November 22, 2010) – Beginning Nov. 21 and continuing through Dec. 11, 2010, Kroger will offer customers fuel savings of 40¢ off per gallon (123 REWARDS MasterCard Customers receive 45¢ off per gallon) for every $100 in gift cards purchased. The savings apply to most gift cards sold at Kroger stores, including: Best Buy, The Home Depot, iTunes, Macy’s, Sears, Subway, JCPenney and Chili’s.
Gift cards from participating retailers can be mixed and matched to reach the $100 amount.  (They do not have to be purchased all in one transaction)

“Kroger’s holiday gift card deal is just another way we offer meaningful savings to customers when they need it most,” said Bill Breetz, president of the Kroger Southwest Division. “Shoppers this holiday season can find everything they need to create a memorable holiday season at their local Kroger stores. Whether gift cards are purchased as presents or are used for holiday shopping, customers can stretch their holiday shopping dollars even further.”

The 40¢ off per gallon promotion applies to a single fill-up of 35 gallons or less, redeemable at Kroger fuel centers and participating Shell locations through Jan. 31, 2011.
