This week there are so many great deals to be found at the grocery stores. After looking through all the circulars, we decided to shop at H-E-B. You can use this menu as a guide and make it your own depending on the sales in your area. The secret is to plan your weekly menu off of the sale items at the grocery store. That way you save money and also time by planning out your meals for the week. It also makes it much easier NOT to stop at fast food restaurants… if you already know what you are having for dinner.

Monday:
Bacon (2/$7) Wrapped Large Texas Gulf Shrimp ($5.97 /lb Save up to $3 /lb)

Brown Rice – use leftover for Thai Stir Fry on Thursday
Tuesday:

Thai Pork Stir Fry

[recipe-ingredients]
– 1 lb Pork Loin or Leftover Pork
– Salt and pepper
– 1 Tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp minced garlic
– 1/2 tsp minced ginger
– 1 package stir fry vegetables (thaw if frozen)
– 3 Tbsp peanut butter
– 1/2 cup water
– 2 Tbsp soy sauce
– 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
– cooked rice or noodles
– peanuts (optional garnish)

1. Season Pork with salt and pepper and grill over medium heat until cooked. (Or Use Leftover Pork Loin)
2. Chop Pork into bite-size pieces.
3. Add olive oil to pan, and saute ginger and garlic on medium.
4. Add remaining ingredients except rice/noodles and peanuts.
5. Stir occasionally until sauce has thickened and vegetables are desired tenderness.
6. Serve over noodles or rice.
