$397.52 for Towels?

I was at JC Penny yesterday to buy my favorite bra that is on sale this week for only $15!  Yeah ME!!!  Regular price is over $30!

The lady in front of me was buying towels and I heard the cashier quote her price to pay $397.52! (really! that is the only items she bought!  I think she left with three bags.)  At first, I thought that I heard her wrong and must have had a perplexed look on my face… when the very sweet lady turns around and tells me that she usually does not spend that much on towels.   The youngest of her children will be leaving for college soon, and will be taking her old towels with him.  She went on to tell me more reasons for the purchase.  But as she went on, I started to wonder… Am I the only person in the world that thinks this is outrageous?  I started going through my head what my family could do with $400.  Then finally, I came to the conclusion that NOT Everyone in the world has Money Issues!  It is not up to me how they choose to spend their money or even think twice about why they would spend close to $400 on towels.

My FRUGAL Hat goes off to this lovely woman and everyone else in the world that are fortunate enough to buy what they want regardless the price.

As for me, I am still excited about my OVER 50% off bra!!!  Really needed a new one to lift the ladies.  LOL!
