Ramdom Act of Kindness

To begin, I am always saying to my DH (dear husband) that the reason that I am the Coupon Fairy (leaving coupons on the shelves for others to use) will brighten someone else’s day.  He just laughs and lets me do what I want. 

Well, yesterday he experienced a random act of kindness that really made HIS DAY! 

He was working (in uniform) at a large event.  He was outside and the rain started coming down.  He got soaked!  Later, he went inside a restaurant to get dinner and there was a family in front of him in line.  The “Dad” told the cashier that he wanted to pay for the Police Officer’s meal, as well!  My DH was very surprised and said that was not necessary, but the gentleman insisted on buying his meal.  My DH was so shocked that all the could say was thank you!

He called me to tell me what happened and he said he was so shocked that the words Thank You barely came out!

So, I would like to say THANK YOU to the family that bought my husband’s dinner  yesterday.  It really made HIS DAY.  Plus, he gets to see how it feels to have someone do something nice, even for a total stranger.
