Cereal bars as low as $1.35 per package Things to remember when shopping at Aldi: Bring a quarter to rent your shopping cart.  This helps them keep labor costs down because you return your cart to the bay to get your quarter back.  I keep a quarter in my cup holder in my car so that I always have it available. Especially, since I like to pass my cart off to someone that is just coming into the store. Bring your own shopping bags.  They do have some to purchase if you forget, but bring your own to help keep cost down. You will need to be your own bagger.  That is really no big deal as the cashier will put all the products directly into your cart then you can bag them up after checking out.  I usually just put items into bags while I am putting them into the car.
